AI Assistant update: Campaign revenue attribution

The AI Assistant can now go beyond campaign engagement and show the revenue connected to voucher campaigns, giving you a clearer picture of what happened after a voucher was sent.

What’s new

Campaign revenue attribution: The AI Assistant can now follow the full journey from a voucher being sent, to being redeemed, to the completed order it was used on.

This means you can ask about a voucher campaign and see:

  • How many vouchers were redeemed

  • How many customers redeemed them

  • The revenue from completed orders where those vouchers were used

A voucher that's redeemed without a completed order still counts as a redemption, but won't be included in attributed revenue.

Why this matters

Why this matters

Why this matters

Previously, the AI Assistant could tell you how a campaign performed through metrics like deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes. Now, for voucher campaigns, it can take that analysis a step further and connect campaign activity to actual orders.

And because attribution follows the direct link between the campaign → voucher → redemption → order, it doesn't rely on a time window or assume that an order placed shortly after a campaign was caused by that campaign.

What else can you ask the AI Assistant?

The AI Assistant can help you explore:

Program health: Understand how your loyalty program is performing across points, orders, gift cards, and email, including comparisons with previous periods.

Campaigns & automated emails: Review delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, top links, and campaign performance.

Automations: See which workflows are active, what triggers them, and how often they've run.

Analytics: Ask your own questions across orders, contacts, points, voucher redemptions, gift cards, and more.

Program setup: Get answers and recommendations based on your actual tiers, earning rules, rewards, and settings.

Orders: Explore recent orders by status, payment status, and date.

Heads up

Revenue attribution currently applies to voucher campaigns where the voucher can be linked to a completed order.

For campaigns issuing gift cards or loyalty credit, the AI Assistant can report what was issued, but there's currently no redemption-to-order attribution. Campaigns without a reward continue to return their standard email performance metrics.

Attribution also doesn't necessarily mean causation: it shows that a campaign voucher was used on an order, but the customer may have made that purchase regardless.
