Introducing order filters for contact lists

Contact lists can now go beyond who your customers are and filter by what they ordered, including order details, products, vouchers, and rewards with a more flexible way to combine conditions.

What’s new

What’s new

  • Filter contacts by their orders: Build an audience based on whether a contact has an order that matches your conditions, including location, order total, payment status, channel, and date.

  • Go deeper into order details: Filter based on the products within an order, including product category, unit price, and quantity.

  • Filter by vouchers and rewards: Find contacts based on the promotions and rewards used on an order, including which promotion or reward was applied and the discount amount.

  • Combine conditions within a filter: A single filter can now contain multiple conditions using All or Any. For example, instead of creating separate groups for Amsterdam and Utrecht, you can include both locations within one filter.

  • Synchronize active lists: Every active contact list now has a Synchronize button, with progress shown while the synchronization is running.

Why we built this

Why we built this

Why we built this

Contact lists previously focused mainly on who your contacts are. But sometimes the audience you need is better defined by what they actually purchased.

Order filters let you create more specific audiences using real order activity. For example, you could find customers who bought a particular product above a certain price and used a specific voucher all within the same order.

At the same time, the updated filter structure makes it easier to express more complex criteria without creating unnecessary groups.

What this means for you

  • Build audiences from purchase behavior: Create contact lists based on actual orders instead of relying only on contact information.

  • Get more specific: Combine order, product, voucher, and reward conditions to define the audience you need.

  • Keep conditions connected to the same order: When you combine conditions within an order filter, they apply to the same order. So a filter such as “bought a burger over €10 with the summer voucher” looks for an order where those conditions occurred together.

  • Build cleaner filters: Use All or Any within individual filters to express more criteria with fewer groups.

Where to find it

Head to CRM → lists and create or open a contact list to access the updated filters.

Heads up

Order filters are rolling out gradually and will become available to a growing number of accounts over the coming weeks. The new filter layout is already available to everyone.

Existing contact lists will continue to work as they do today. When you open an existing list, each previous filter will appear as a filter containing a single condition.
