Introducing dedicated Apple Wallet passes
Dedicated Apple Wallet passes give each merchant their own space in customers' wallets, instead of grouping passes of the same type from different brands together. Once enabled by the Leat team, new passes automatically use the dedicated setup, while existing passes continue working as before.
Dedicated passes for your brand: Your Apple Wallet passes are now grouped separately from those of other merchants, giving your brand its own place in customers' wallets.
No more shared stacks: Previously, passes of the same type from different merchants could appear together because they were all issued through Leat. Dedicated passes keep your brand's passes separate.
Simple activation: The feature only needs to be enabled once. After that, new passes automatically use the dedicated setup.
Existing passes keep working: Passes already added to customers' wallets remain unchanged and continue to work as before.
Your customers may have loyalty cards, stamp cards, and vouchers from multiple businesses. Previously, Apple Wallet could group passes of the same type together, even when they belonged to different brands.
Dedicated Apple Wallet passes give each merchant a clearer, more distinct presence in customers' wallets.
What this means for you
Give your brand its own space: Your passes no longer share a stack with passes from other merchants.
Create a clearer wallet experience: Make it easier for customers to distinguish your loyalty cards, stamp cards, and vouchers from those of other businesses.
Keep things simple: Once enabled, the dedicated setup applies automatically to new passes.
No disruption to existing passes: Customers can continue using the passes they've already added.
Where to find it
The feature is available under Settings → Apps → Wallet pass.
During the beta, only Leat team members can view and enable this setting. If you'd like to try dedicated Apple Wallet passes, please contact our team.
Heads up
This feature is currently in Beta and requires activation by the Leat team.
Dedicated passes apply only to newly issued passes. Existing passes remain unchanged and continue working as before.
