Easier email changes and contact merging
Changing a contact’s email and merging contacts is now easier. Update an email in one step, move straight into a merge when the address already exists, and follow merge progress as it happens.
Change email addresses in one step: You can now update a contact’s email address directly from their profile using Options → Change email address.
Smart merge when an email already exists: If the new email address already belongs to another contact, Leat takes you directly to the merge flow with both contacts already filled in.
See merge progress: Contact merges now show a progress bar, so you can follow the merge and see when it’s finished.
Customers can sometimes end up with separate profiles under different email addresses, or simply need the email address on their existing profile changed.
These updates make both situations easier to handle. You can change an email directly from the contact profile, and if that email already belongs to another contact, you can move straight into merging the two profiles instead.
