Introducing manual contact lists

Manual contact lists let you build an audience by selecting individual contacts instead of defining filters. Add contacts yourself or with the AI Assistant, then use the list across campaigns, recurring emails, and issuances.

What’s new

What’s new

  • Create manual lists: You can now create a contact list without filters. Choose exactly which contacts belong in the list, and the membership won’t change automatically.

  • Add contacts easily: Search for and add contacts directly from the list, or use Add to list from an individual contact.

  • Build lists with the AI Assistant: Ask the AI Assistant to add specific email addresses to a new list, and it can create the list for you with live progress shown in the chat.

  • Use manual lists across Leat: Target contacts from a manual list in campaigns, recurring emails, and issuances.

Why we built this

Why we built this

Why we built this

Filters are useful when you want a list that automatically changes based on certain criteria. But sometimes you already know exactly who you want in a group.

Manual lists give you a simpler option for those situations. Add the contacts you want, and they stay in the list until you decide to change it without needing to create filtering rules.

What this means for you

  • Create fixed audiences: Build a list of specific contacts that won’t automatically change based on filters.

  • Skip unnecessary filters: When you already know who should be included, simply add them directly.

  • Manage contacts from either place: Add contacts from within the list or directly from an individual contact.

  • Put your lists to work: Use manual lists to target campaigns, recurring emails, and issuances.

Where to find it

Head to CRM → Lists and create a new list. Choose the Manual list type, then search for and add the contacts you want to include.
