Redemption & validation
Check every reward, voucher, and balance against the full rule set, in real time, on any channel. Apply what's valid, decline what isn't, and give staff a reason they can read out loud. Because every surface checks against the same record, a code used once is used once, everywhere, with no sync window in between.
When a reward, voucher, gift card, or balance is presented, Leat checks it in a single pass: is it valid now, is this customer eligible, does it apply to this basket, can it combine with what's already applied, is it within its caps and its budget. The answer comes back as a yes, or as a no with the specific reason: expired, minimum spend not met, not valid at this location, can't stack with the member price, already used. Nobody at the counter has to know the rules to enforce them.
At the till, the reward becomes a line in the sale. In the checkout, it's a discount or a payment. At a kiosk or order-at-table screen, the customer applies it themselves. From the wallet pass, a reward can be presented for scanning or redeemed directly for a code. Staff can apply a reward from the register app. Each surface applies the same rules and reaches the same result, so a reward that works at one location works at all of them and a code declined online is declined in store for the same reason.
A single-use voucher redeemed at the till is marked used before the receipt prints, and the same code presented anywhere else a second later is declined. A points redemption reduces the balance the wallet pass shows the moment it happens. Gift card and credit balances are drawn down in real time and read by every channel. There is no sync window in which a reward can be used twice, because there is one record and every surface writes to it.
Who redeemed what, where, when, on what basket, and alongside which other offers. When a customer disputes a redemption, the answer is on their profile. When finance wants the cost of a campaign, it's the sum of its redemptions. When Optimization measures whether a reward changed behavior, the redemption is the event it starts from. And when Decisioning weighs what to offer a customer next, what they've redeemed before is part of the context.
