Eligibility rules
Leat defines eligibility using customer data, transaction details, and real-time context, then applies the same rules wherever an incentive is considered. Segments, tiers, purchase conditions, exclusions, and limits remain aligned across campaigns, automations, channels, and Decisioning.
Eligibility can depend on segment, tier, membership status, custom attributes, consent, and customer history. Conditions can identify customers who joined within the last 30 days, visited three times this quarter, or have never redeemed a specific reward. Complex audiences become one reusable rule instead of several exports and manual lists.
Set conditions using minimum spend, basket value, products, categories, quantities, first-purchase status, channel, location, time, payment method, or existing discounts. Leat evaluates these conditions as the interaction happens, so an incentive becomes available only when both the customer and transaction qualify.
Exclude staff and test accounts, wholesale customers, previous recipients, customers flagged for abuse, or anyone without the required consent. Redemption and frequency limits prevent unintended repeat use. If an inclusion and an exclusion both apply, the exclusion takes priority.
Leat checks eligibility before an incentive is displayed, issued, applied, redeemed, or considered by Decisioning. If a customer redeems it, withdraws consent, reaches a limit, or leaves an eligible tier, the permitted actions update immediately. Campaigns, automations, channels, Decisioning, and Leat AI all work from the same current answer.
New customer offers
Incentives intended for new customers remain limited to genuinely new customers or first qualifying purchases.
Member-only & paid perks
Rewards, prices, and experiences remain exclusive to the members or tiers they are designed for.
Basket-based eligibility
Spend, quantity, product, and category conditions connect incentives to the purchases the business wants to encourage.
Channel & location-based offers
Qualification can reflect the channel, location, or market relevant to a campaign.
Limited-use incentives
Redemption, frequency, and time limits reduce unintended repeat use and help protect campaign budgets.
Excluded groups
Staff, test, wholesale, abuse-flagged, and non-consenting accounts remain outside incentives intended for regular customers.
