Redemption rules
Once a customer qualifies for an incentive, Redemption Rules determine when, where, and through which connected channels it can be used. Each incentive carries its own restrictions, which Leat validates whenever redemption is attempted. Precise conditions remain attached to one incentive without duplicate versions or manual interpretation by staff.
Set fixed start and end dates, limit redemption to certain days or hours, or make validity relative to when the incentive was issued. A reward can remain valid for 48 hours, for the rest of a visit, or until the end of the month. Time-based restrictions are enforced automatically, so a lunch incentive ends on schedule and a weekend promotion does not continue into Monday.
Make an incentive redeemable at selected locations, across a region or market, or throughout the entire business. Earning and redemption locations can be controlled separately, allowing value earned across the program to be redeemed only at selected locations, or vice versa. Shared rules remain consistent while supporting approved local variations.
Control whether an incentive can be redeemed through an in-store POS, e-commerce checkout, kiosk, order-at-table experience, or another connected ordering channel. One incentive can support different channel restrictions without being duplicated, keeping its configuration, redemption history, and performance connected to the same definition.
Every redemption attempt is checked against the incentive’s current time, location, and channel rules. The POS, e-commerce checkout, kiosk, and other connected systems receive the same answer. Valid redemptions proceed, while expired or out-of-scope attempts are rejected without staff having to interpret the conditions themselves.
Scalable rollout
New locations and channels can be added to existing incentives without creating a separate redemption setup for each one.
Centralized incentive management
One incentive can support different locations, channels, and time restrictions without requiring multiple copies.
Incentive leakage prevention
Time, location, and channel restrictions prevent discounts and rewards from being used outside their intended scope.
Consistency across channels
Connected customer touchpoints apply the same core redemption rules while supporting approved local variations.
Staff consistency
System-level validation reduces manual judgment and conflicting decisions at the point of redemption.
Consolidated reporting
Redemptions and performance remain connected to one incentive instead of being divided across duplicate versions.
