Stamp cards
Reward repeat visits or product purchases with a digital stamp card tied to the customer’s profile. Progress stays current across locations and channels, completion rewards can be issued automatically, and every stamp becomes useful customer activity rather than an anonymous mark on paper.
Ten coffees for a free one is the classic, and it's one option. Stamp per visit, so frequency earns regardless of what's bought. Stamp per specific product or category, so the card rewards what you want to sell. Run several cards at once, a coffee card and a lunch card, each with its own completion reward from the catalog. Completion can reset the card, retire it, or move the customer onto something bigger.
The card sits in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet as a branded pass. It appears on the lock screen when the customer arrives at your location, updates the moment a stamp lands, and needs no app, no account setup at the counter, and no card to remember. The same pass carries their points, membership, and rewards, so one thing in the wallet is the whole program.
One stamp per visit, so splitting a basket into three transactions earns one. Each stamp is tied to a verified customer and to the staff member who applied it, so a card that fills unusually fast shows up as a pattern. Cards can't be forged, copied, or passed around, and a completed card redeems once. The generosity of the paper card without the leakage.
A stamp card tells you how often a customer comes back, how long between visits, and where they stall. The customers stuck at stamp seven are a segment. The card that nobody completes is a design problem the data shows you. Stamps feed the profile, segments, automations, and Decisioning like any other event, and a customer who fills three cards is a candidate for points, tiers, or membership, which the program can offer at the moment they're most likely to say yes.
Card design
Decide how many stamps, what earns one, and what completing the card is worth, so the reward is reachable and affordable.
Paper-to-digital transition
Credit customers with the stamps on their paper card when they sign up, so nobody loses progress in the switch.
Completion rate review
Check where customers stop filling the card, by location and by card type, and change the design of any card that too few customers complete.
Multi-venue card scope
Set which cards can be stamped at which sites, and whether a group runs one card or one per location.
Stamp disputes
Staff can review the customer’s visits and stamp history when a customer believes progress is missing.
Dispute handling
Settle "I should have gotten a stamp" at the counter from the customer's record of visits and stamps.
