Giftcard Statistics
See top-ups and redemptions at each location, the outstanding balance, the redemption rate, and the average days to redemption. Every figure updates with every purchase, top-up, and redemption, because it reads from the same record as the till. No exports, no adding up spreadsheets from different locations.
See how much gift card value was redeemed and topped up at each location. A card bought in one store and spent in another shows up in both places, so you can tell which locations sell gift cards and which ones take the spend. Groups with several locations or brands can compare them side by side, or look at the total for the whole business.
The outstanding balance shows the total value sitting on gift cards that customers have paid for but not yet spent. It's the number finance asks for at the end of the month, and it updates with every purchase, top-up, and redemption, because it reads from the same record as the till. No exports, no adding up spreadsheets from different locations.
The redemption rate shows how much of the value you've issued has been spent. A low rate means cards are sitting in drawers and wallets. A high rate means they're bringing people through the door. Either way, you know which one it is.
Average days to redemption shows the time between a card being bought or topped up and being spent. Cards given in December and spent in January tell a different story than cards that sit for half a year. Knowing the usual wait tells you when a reminder will land at the right moment, and when a card has gone quiet.
